This is the update, with pics that I promised.  Little late, but better late than never.  A great time was had on the trip.  I am so ready to go back and do some more sailing.  The bay is shallow, but I have already started learning the my way around, knowing the locals and there knowledge is key.
Its been since 5 Dec that I have been on the boat, I am starting to really miss it, and I need to plan a trip back down to check her out.  I have friends that check on her, but its not the same as laying your own eyes and hands on her.  This trip was a test in many ways to see how I would enjoy being board for a long period of time, I think that I passed, I love every min of the trip, even the bad.
So would I do it again, yes, I learned a lot of lessons from this trip, and I am prepared to some some off shore sailing now, I have plans for some short stuff, like a day sail to Navy cove, that's right by the mouth of the bay.  I will over night here and then jump out side for a day sail, then comeback and over night at navy cove, sailing back to the Marine the next day.  Then I will do a run over to Pensacola, that's a long day, but very easily done in a day.  I will keep doing some stuff like this and then do an overnight, Soon I will be do longer runs, but those will come later, when I have more time experience and weather windows.  Well that will do it for now.  I will post more as I have it and have time.  When I have trip planed to check the boat out I will post it here.  I plan to continue to use this a log for my adventures aboard Surprise.
